Bookings & cancellation
Booking
All appointments are by booking. The diary opens monthly. Cosmetic tattoo treatments and first-time facials require a complimentary consultation before the first appointment so we can plan the treatment, confirm suitability and answer your questions.
Deposits
A deposit is taken at the time of booking and is applied to the cost of your treatment on the day. Deposit amounts vary by treatment and are confirmed at the time of booking.
Cancellation and rescheduling
We understand life happens. We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Deposits are fully transferable to a future appointment within 12 months when at least 48 hours' notice is given.
Less than 48 hours' notice or non-attendance forfeits the deposit. Repeated late cancellations may require full pre-payment for future bookings.
Late arrival
Treatments are scheduled tightly. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment so we don't run over for the next client. Charges apply at the full rate.
Pricing
Current pricing for all treatments is shown on our booking page. Pricing for cosmetic tattoo includes the initial appointment, the perfecting session at six to eight weeks, and aftercare kit.
Aftercare
What you'll receive
Every treatment includes written aftercare instructions specific to your service. For cosmetic tattoo and skin treatments these include healing milestones, day-by-day expectations, product recommendations and a contact point if you have questions during the healing window.
Cosmetic tattoo aftercare summary
Detailed instructions are issued at your appointment. As a summary:
- Days 1 to 3: Gently blot with the supplied cleansing solution as directed. Apply the supplied aftercare balm sparingly.
- Days 4 to 7: Light flaking and scabbing is normal. Do not pick. Keep the area dry where possible.
- Days 8 to 14: Colour may appear lighter or patchy. This is part of the healing cycle.
- Weeks 4 to 6: Colour returns and settles. Your perfecting session is scheduled in this window.
- Avoid sun exposure, swimming, saunas, exercise that causes heavy sweating, retinol and active skincare on the area, and makeup over the treated area, until the area is fully healed.
Lash and brow aftercare
Avoid water, steam and oil-based products on the treated area for 24 hours. Brush lashes daily with the supplied wand. Sleep on your back where possible. Refills are typically scheduled at two to three weeks for extensions and six to eight weeks for lash lift.
Facial aftercare
Avoid active skincare (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C in high concentration) and direct sun for 48 hours. Apply SPF 50 daily. Use only the products recommended in your treatment plan during the recovery window.
If something doesn't look right
If you have any concern during healing, contact us as soon as possible at info@maisonmontclair.com.au or 1300 668 902. We would much rather hear from you early than late.
